Wine Country

I had such a fun, long weekend that it is hard to get back to the daily grind!  As I mentioned in a previous post, I threw two dinner parties this past weekend and had an amazing time hosting, eating, and laughing with all my friends.  Such good times.  Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at a winery in Saratoga, CA, called Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards.  I am a beginning wine enthusiast and love to drink wine, so I was definitely in heaven tasting all the different whites and reds.  My favorite bottle was the 2009 Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast.   So deliciously fruity, with a deep dark purple color and a smokey background.  Some of the grapes from Savannah-Chanelle have been planted since 1917!
